![]() The material under the Steven Wilson name is better, but hit an miss for me. I like some of the Blackfield stuff, a little No-Man, and very little Bass Communion, but who knows? With a guided tour from someone more knowledgeable than me, I might find more to like in it than I expect. If someone wants to pick this up (or start a new thread) and continue with SW's other projects, I'm sure I'll pop in for some listens and comments. I still haven't warmed up to The Incident. I'm still not a hard-core fan of the first album group (OtSoL / YHD), but I really like the next three (UtD, TSMS, Signify), and LOVE the next five. ![]() I tend to group the recordings by the 10 core studio albums with secondary albums, EPs, singles, and live releases associated with those core albums. If anyone needs one of those impossible-to-find or outrageously-expensive-e-bay rarities, drop me a PM.įeel free to continue to comment about songs or albums or about the catalog as a whole. ![]() My first musical love was Rush (and in many ways they remain "my band"), but PT has surpassed them in my estimation - there are more "moods" and "textures" in the music - and they're a heck of a lot of fun to try to collect with so many pieces out there! Speaking of which (without wanting to run afoul of the rules of the forum), I have most of the out-of-print stuff in ALAC format. There were a few tracks I'd "written-off" that I decided I liked after all. This has been a great tour of PT's catalog. ![]()
